When preparing the GCSE Spanish exam, students will cover all the sub-themes within the main three broad themes (i.e. ‘Identity and culture’, ‘Wales and the World – areas of interest’ and ‘Current and future study and employment’) through the four language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

the A level Spanish tuition aims to provide students with solid grounding in linguistic knowledge, as well as an understanding of the social, political, intellectual, artistic and cultural aspects in some of the Spanish-speaking countries and communities. Students will also achieve this through the study of Spanish literature and films.

When preparing for DELE Spanish exam, students will find the support and guidance needed to develop all the language skills assessed in the Spanish exam. This accredited qualification is granted by the Instituto Cervantes, and levels are based on the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

The International Spanish Language Evaluation Service (SIELE) is another way of testing your degree of Spanish proficiency.
