Spanish Club Copas Online is a friendly, creative and well-guided online programme where adult learners can practise real spoken Spanish in groups of up to 4 learners. It offers a more personal and meaningful alternative to a traditional class, helping you build confidence through conversation, interaction and real-life language.
This 8-week term is built around 8 everyday social situations, all linked by a clear thread that gives each session continuity and makes the experience of learning Spanish online feel more immersive, engaging and relevant to real life.
Through level-adapted dialogues, guided interaction and interactive speaking tasks, you will build grammar and vocabulary in context while developing the high-frequency phrases, structures and natural responses people actually use.
With regular opportunities to speak, participate and co-create conversation, each session helps you leave with Spanish that feels more usable, more memorable and easier to take into everyday life.

📈 Spanish Club membership fee:
- 8-week block membership: £200 / (£25/hour)
- Single class (drop-in): £35 / 1-hour session

What do we do in the Spanish Club Copas:
- Learning and teaching approach: We want you to use wisely and productively your one-hour weekly interaction in Spanish and our main aim is that you speak up! Therefore, in order to prepare for each session, you will be given the vocabulary and structures we will be using in advance. The materials and methodology suggested aim to encourage and stimulate interactive practices such as discussions and reflection in cooperative groups, games and simulations, role plays, empathy-taking activities, personal stories and case studies, visualisations, and imaginative activities.
- Coursework and extra online resources provided: It is unlikely to see us correcting homework and gap-filling exercises in class. That’s one hour for you to speak, and the rest, we all can do it at home! During these sessions you will be always given visual support/ speaking mats related to each session's topic conversation. Furthermore, supplementary materials will be uploaded to our online Dropbox file.
How many students will there be in class?
- Reduced groups and personalised attention. You will learn in a private, relaxed but professional environment. There is a maximum of eight students per session and we have made sure that each of the members of the club has done a prior assessment to ensure that there is a common language level and learning style
If I miss a session, can I reschedule it for the next term?
- Unfortunately, no. All pack memberships conclude on the final day of the term and cannot be carried over to the subsequent term. We kindly ask you to thoroughly review our terms and conditions for more details.
Lighthouse Social: As a member of this club, you will have access to our free monthly meet up at a local tapas bar, connecting with other students at different levels and Spanish native speakers in a real Spanish context. Furthermore, you will have discounts to future workshops organised such as cooking workshops, Spanish food/wine tasting and specific- content workshops.

Lighthouse Meetups are guided conversation events where you put your Spanish into action — in real social settings, with real people.
Enjoy a tea or coffee while you build real speaking confidence. Lighthouse Spanish Meetups are guided, in-person conversation events designed to help you use your Spanish naturally in social situations — active, friendly, and not a traditional class.
Each session has a clear theme and includes prep resources in advance (conversation prompts + key phrases), so you arrive ready to speak. On the day, you’ll get structured speaking practice through partner swaps, mini role-plays, and real-life conversational scenarios — with plenty of speaking time and supportive guidance.

If you’re curious and want to try your Spanish in a real social setting — come and join us for a cuppa! The meetups are a safe, friendly space to practise, with a gentle challenge built in. Come with an attitude of trying things out — say a bit, make mistakes, try again — and see if you enjoy the language and the buzz of using it with real people.

The materials and activities suggested (e.g. role plays, photo-card descriptions, debates and discussions, presentations, board-games etc.), as well as the learning and teaching approach; will help you improve not only your fluency, accuracy and pronunciation when speaking Spanish but also your level of vocabulary and listening comprehension.
