Also, it aims to enable students to use language spontaneously and establish interactive communication by asking and expressing personal thoughts, points of view and feelings.

Speaking assessment

 UNIT 1

    • Argumentation on written stimulus card based on the theme ‘Understanding the Spanish-speaking world.
    • Discussion prompted by written stimulus cards and related questions based on the theme.’Being a young person in Spanish-speaking Society.’

UNIT 3

Another important aim for this Club is focused on developing critical thinking and analytical responses to the study of Spanish films (unit 2, section D) and literary texts (Unit 5), which although they are part of the written examination, they are great sources from which discussions and debates stem and where students can develop a deeper understanding and awareness of the issues covered in the films and literacy texts within their socio-cultural contexts.
