☕️ 🇪🇸 Lighthouse Spanish Café is a series of in-person meetings where participants can enjoy a coffee while conversing for one hour on various topics. Each session will cover a different topic and includes conversation prompts and preparation resources provided in advance. There are two groups based on Spanish proficiency levels of Spanish: intermediate (A2-B1), and advanced (B2-C2).

- A2.2 - B1 Level Students: You’re able to have a fluent conversation, but sometimes you need a little push to keep it going. This café offers the perfect space to boost your confidence. You'll learn by chatting with others, listening to more advanced speakers, and challenging yourself to take your Spanish further.
- B2 - C2 Level Students: Designed for those who want to maintain their advanced level, explore current topics, expand their vocabulary, and connect with interesting people who share a passion for Spanish language and culture.

- Monthly Membership (4 sessions/month): £50/month (only £12.50 per class).
- Single Session (Pay As You Go): £18 per session.

🏆 Our Spanish Speaking Club Copas is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic learners willing to improve their speaking Spanish language skills in an in person, friendly, social and creative language environment.

What do we do in the Spanish Club Copas:
- Learning and teaching approach: We want you to use wisely and productively your one-hour weekly interaction in Spanish and our main aim is that you speak up! Therefore, in order to prepare for each session, you will be given the vocabulary and structures we will be using in advance. The materials and methodology suggested aim to encourage and stimulate interactive practices such as discussions and reflection in cooperative groups, games and simulations, role plays, empathy-taking activities, personal stories and case studies, visualisations, and imaginative activities.
- Coursework and extra online resources provided: It is unlikely to see us correcting homework and gap-filling exercises in class. That’s one hour for you to speak, and the rest, we all can do it at home! During these sessions you will be always given visual support/ speaking mats related to each session's topic conversation. Furthermore, supplementary materials will be uploaded to our online Dropbox file.
How many students will there be in class?
- Reduced groups and personalised attention. You will learn in a private, relaxed but professional environment. There is a maximum of eight students per session and we have made sure that each of the members of the club has done a prior assessment to ensure that there is a common language level and learning style
If I miss a session, can I reschedule it for the next term?
- Unfortunately, no. All pack memberships conclude on the final day of the term and cannot be carried over to the subsequent term. We kindly ask you to thoroughly review our terms and conditions for more details.
Lighthouse Social Café: As a member of this club, you will have access to our free monthly meet up, connecting with other students at different levels and Spanish native speakers in a real Spanish context. Furthermore, you will have discounts to future workshops organised such as cooking workshops, Spanish food/wine tasting and specific- content workshops.
